I heard there was a "dai" workshop at the Shizutani school this past summer. Anyone attend?

My understanding is that the owner of Hida Tools in Oregon is a big Japanese carpentry fan, and brings over master and journeyman carpenters now and then for a "dai." They had a planing contest last time, and built a big Shinto arch, I think.
