All,...

just a reminder to everyone interested that the Japanese Friendship Society of San Diego is hosting four garden sessions on November 20 & 21st - 04, (Sat/Sun).

$45.00/one day, and 85.00 both days.

These are 4 -3 hour sessions, lectures, hands on, lunch included, for:

Fall Pruning of Japanese maples

Fall pruning of Black Pine

Basic Japanese Garden design

Sessions lead by Yuki Nara, Bill Castellon and Richard Austin.

Most will remember that Richard and Bill studied with Tokushirou Tamane, Head gardener for Kinkakuji.

Castellpn studied stone arrangement under Mas Imazumi and Richard has been lecturing in Spaon on the subjects.

Yuki Nara has lectured at the National Maple Convention and assists classes at Merrit College on aesthetic fine pruning.

All three have studied under Dennis Makishima.

I'm surprised the sessions are so inexpensive,... one can learn a lot from these three!
