Rain Chains - which design is best

I am building a two story home in coastal northern California. I am planning on installing rain chains to transport rain water from the copper gutters to the ground. My preference is for traditional link-style copper chains but I am concerned about how effectively they transport water downward without splattering too much of it on the walls nearby. I know there are various funnel styles available, but again, my preference is for links. You can beat me into submission on this if funnels are the only effective way to go. FYI, the distance from gutter to ground is 19'. Any thoughts and suggestions appreciated. Thank you.

Hammer, I don't really know enough about rain chains to answer your question, but you could try this site, and see if they'll have any advice for you.

Here is a link that might be useful: Rain Chains
