Not much action in this Japanese garden forum it seems. I understand there's been some "trouble" in here in the past. I gather a lot of the helpful posters moved elsewhere.

For those of you that check in, but don't often write, could you recommend good Japanese or Asian garden sites/forum/blogs for more northern US or southern Canada climates? I'm a really big fan of our local St. Paul, MN Como-Ordway Japanese Garden, but I'd love to find more info on the internet for my particularly chilly part of the world. Most of what I've seen is written for warmer zones... especially ones that can reasonably expect Japanese Maples to live through the winter. That's a tall order in my area :-(

Quietness and a slow pace seem appropriate given the subject matter. Maybe all the threads are now going to take years to develop, like bonsai.
