Hello.
I had read an article in a Japanese (English) paper awhile back about a project in Tokyo on bringing back original seed i.e. komatsuna is originally from Tokyo area the name being river related---anyway I am interested in finding that and other sources of heirloom Japanese vegetables, rice, etc. If anyone in knows of a place in Japan I can turn to please tell me Thanks Ema

RE: Japanese Heirloom Vegetable seeds

Emma,
I don't know any sources in Japan but Baker Creek Heirlooms has a few of the pumpkins.
Other than that, maybe Kitazawa seeds might have some but they won't be listed as heirlooms.
