Juniper for Japanese garden

I've been thinking about putting a Juniper (tree form) in my J. garden & pruning it in a Japanese style. Has anyone else used a Juniper?---what cultivar?---pictures?
Thanks,Larry

I've seen this done with so-called spiny Greek juniper (plant sold on this continent actually a Chinese juniper like 'Columnaris'). Other upright Chinese junipers should be suitable.

Thanks bboy, I've also read that J. chinesis can be used.
