I'm told there are some very nice private Japanese Gardens in San Diego. I would love to visit them but I have no idea how to find them.

I've visited the Friendship Garden in San Diego and was disappointed. I've also visited the Anderson Garden in Rockland IL-fabulous!!, the Japanese Gardens at MoBot (Siewa-en) also excellent and the Huntington in Los Angeles, also very nice.

I would love to see what a individual with more limited means can do in a private setting.

I will be in Houston this coming May. Are there any Japanese Gardens there that I might visit?
