Hello, my son's very favorite kio tried to committe suiside or something.

i found him down the bank several feet from the pond all dry, and not breathing. i brought him up to the pond and gently took him front and then back motion in the watter and he started to breath again. I brought him in and he kept falling over on his side. I left him alone for a while and got the tank ready and he kept trying to jump out kind of; head above the watter gasping, and swiming all around speraticly.

after i got him in the tank he could keep himself right side up and swam around and even was hitting himself on the sides. I had a towel over the tank also.

now he is lying on the bottom over on his side, still breathing..

Is there any hope for this poor fish or is it better to just let him pass humanly?
