Red and Yellow Koi -

Well it took a while to get this little buggers picture. This is the koi I had asked about in a previous post. Actually, he does not have the kohaku markings, but rather is more like a Yamabuki. His belly does seem to fade from yellow to white. He is still very small and I am hoping that as he grows, that he keeps the yellow and red markings. He also seems to have some gin rin.

Sorry it took so long to post a picture. He was quite elusive for awhile. I think it was because he was new and so he did a lot of hiding. Then we enlarged the pond and that took precedence over everything else.

Let me know what you think of him.

photo is too small to tell, but its definitally not a kohaku. could be a Gin Rin Yamabuki or possibly a Harawaki.

anyway to get a larger photo? its a link to the photobucket home page, not to a larger photo.

Surfhead

I wish I could get a larger/better photo. I need to get a digital camera with zoom. Perhaps my tax return next year or the fish will be big enough to appear better in the photo.
