| Well it took a while to get this little buggers picture. This is the koi I had asked about in a previous post. Actually, he does not have the kohaku markings, but rather is more like a Yamabuki. His belly does seem to fade from yellow to white. He is still very small and I am hoping that as he grows, that he keeps the yellow and red markings. He also seems to have some gin rin.
Sorry it took so long to post a picture. He was quite elusive for awhile. I think it was because he was new and so he did a lot of hiding. Then we enlarged the pond and that took precedence over everything else.
Let me know what you think of him.

| photo is too small to tell, but its definitally not a kohaku. could be a Gin Rin Yamabuki or possibly a Harawaki. anyway to get a larger photo? its a link to the photobucket home page, not to a larger photo. |

| Surfhead I wish I could get a larger/better photo. I need to get a digital camera with zoom. Perhaps my tax return next year or the fish will be big enough to appear better in the photo. Carolyn |
