| I want to get some freshwater clam for my koi pond. Do anyone know a local place where I can find freshwater clam. I've tried Petco and Petsmart |

| I hope that after 6 months of nobody responding to help you.... You found a clam! I have never heard of a clam in a koi pond. If you did get one please let me know how that is working out for you. |

When I was a kid, we would go down to the river and pick up all kinds of clams and muscles to take home to our aquariums. We would find muscles three and four inches long. My son and I went dwon this past summer, and we could find anything alive... lots of shells.
