24 goldfish 3 koi tomuch for 250 gallon pond??

i have a small 250-300 gallon pond with 24 1-3 inch goldfish, 2 2.5 inch koi fish and a 6in koi. i have a homemade filter to fget out the big stuff(fish pood and food) and a biological filter. it is 20 inches deep at a 3*5 section and a 10 inch depth at3*4. is this too little of room for my fish? should i get ride of goldfish?

A koi should have a minimum of 300 gallons EACH, with a minimum pond size of 1000 gallons and a minumim depth of 36". Goldies need 50 gallons each. Get rid of all the koi and all but 5 of the goldfish.

ccoombs1 is correct. You've got far too many fish. They grow much faster than you would think. Do yourself a favor and get rid of all of the koi and almost all of the goldfish now.

is there room for water in there...lol
i would definitely cut your numbers down . problem is most koi keepers are guilty of overstocking , Filtration , filtration , filtration !!! if your system can handle it and you keep the pond clean , i would go for 10 Goldfish , they aren,t ask touchy about water quality as koi are , and they don,t grow as big as fast
