inactivity of fish

The weather in Northern California has been quite mild, with lows in the 40's and highs in the 60s. Neverthless, the fissh have been staying parked and very still at the very bottom of the pond. I don't remember them behaving like that in prior winters.

I'm feeding them very little this time of year, so maybe they're low energy?

Is is inappropriate behavior for late autumn when the weather is mild? Is thgis an early sign of a problem?

I have aggressive filtration on a deep (4 feet) pond with about 1000 gallons.
