| I have a squash bug experiment string started in Vegitable Gardening. I found this area after I started that string.

| I found the best way to beat them is don't give them a place to live. After losing too many melon plants, I started growing my melons up the side of a piece of 16' cattle guard bowed in the middle to make an arch. I can now dust on both sides and haven't lost a plant since. |

| What kind of squash bugs are we talking about? The kind that eat the leaves or the squash vine borers? Jim |
