cut flower/christmas tree food crystals

I have several packages of these packages of "food" for cut flowers and Christmas trees and we never use them. They just keep adding up. I've tried to give them away on freecycle but no one is interested. I hate to just toss them out and therefore, I've wondered, would they be of any use or harm in the garden? Anyone have any ideas?

I would toss them in the compost.
