Howdy! This is my first go at growing beans! So might as well try a teepee too! I wanted it big enough for the grandkid's (and me) to get into. Well...so far, so good. I have 50 lima beans planted around the teepee area. If I can just keep the beans alive and growing till harvest time!
The plastic and boxes I laid down inside the teepee to help kill off the weeds growing inside. I got tired of pulling them. We were going to cut off some of the tops of the bamboo, but I decided to leave it be and see how it goes.
The colorful spiral hanging things was an opps that got left up there when we assembled the bamboo poles. Oh and please pay no attention to the background disaster area....ongoing yard cleaning still in progress.
