double node cuttings

Hi
Some while ago,I think on this forum,some one mentioned taking cuttings with two nodes instead of the conventional one.
I will be ever gratefull to the person concerned,it without a doubt magic.
The idea was that you get two sets of roots,I tried both methods,in the same propergator, and without a doubt two nodes make a fantastic differance,the top node had a much stronger root than the bottom one. The person said that if the plant should run 'a little', short of water the top root system will see it through. After 50 years gardening,before I retired a market gardener,It proves there is still a lot to learn.
