A recent news story mentioned that urine of pregnant women might hasten the germination of seed. [Article was about pregnancy tests. Seems some ancients thought germination could be used as a pregnancy test. Recently some scientist thought they may have been onto something.] No more information. Nothing in the article that would merit a link.

I cannot do any experiments on this. Should you find yourself pregnant or have access to the urine of someone who is, get yourself some seed, design an experiment with controls, and report back here as to what you learn.
