Elevated raised bed experiment

Went a little overboard making an herb garden.

I started with the idea of making a raised bed, but then I started thinking about all that bending down to work on a raised bed garden (I am 6'4",) so I decided to elevate the bed.

Before I new it I ended up with this.

Features include an elevated bed, screened enclosure and a solar powered watering system.

I also wrote a hopefully funny story about making this thing here.

Everything is growing great, but have been told I might be over-watering with the solar powered watering system. So I am going to try cutting back the water and see how they do in the 106º temps projected for next week here in Fort Worth.

Looks good! Just wondered how much it cost you to make that home for your $2 plants, lol! Hope you continue planting in it once your herbs/tomatoes/peppers are done.

Hope everything going great in your experiment. I will wait for more stories from your side.
