| Just curious- what is the most unusual or experimental thing you've successfully grown as a houseplant? Have you ever grown a 'perennial' as a houseplant? |

| Althoug i have nit grow any perenial indoors, would classify myself as unusual becaise whatever it is i wull try rog row indoors. So far impatiens, cherries have worked, four o clocks. so far these have rally done good for me. Wheneve you want to see if something works or not, just try it. |

| I have propagated Sanseveria using very small cutting, almost microscopic. The tiny cuttings must be sterilized and planted in sterilized media in a growth chamber and watched for years. I have forced true leaves from an Opuntia in a growth chamber. I reported this here several years ago and was flamed by someone claiming that this was not an unusual experiment. |

| Years ago, I grew an avocado in the window of my central PA apartment (zone 5). It got to be about 3 feet tall and pretty spindly, but it survived for at least a couple years. |
