| I guess you could call this an experiment.
I allowed my two celery plants to go to seed/flower. I dont have any plans to ever grow celery again, and I dont really want a million celery seeds in the garden. So I am thinking of cutting it down, but before I do that I want to check with people that there isn't something worth while i can do with the plant. I.e. can I eat the root like celeriac? Will it shoot nice new stems if I cut it back?

| I let mine do that so I could use the seeds for cooking. They're an expensive spice to buy. |

| I think the ones I buy are usually whole seeds. Grinding them would probably impart more flavor, though. Wish I had a mortar and pestle. |
