This situation went viral on the internet, online support groups were created, and the situation made headlines at Fox News, The Huffington Post, The Washington Post and others.

The case against homeowner Julie Bass has been dismissed by the the district court judge, she has been cleared of all charges, and she is now free to grow vegetables in her front yard.

HURRAH!

Always remember that politicians and bureaucrats like Oak Park City Planner Kevin Rulkowski are in that line of work because they're control freaks. They try to convince people that what they want is what everyone wants, which is rarely the case.

So, if you want a vegetable garden in your front yard, or a few chickens in your backyard, just remember that you CAN fight City Hall!
