| One of my other hobbies is keeping reptiles, And some people keep venomous reptiles for the thrill of it.
I was wondering if I grew one marijuana plant but kept it small and took off all the buds how much trouble could I get in.For some reason its novelty is so attractive to me.
I will try to keep it an indoor plant by a window. |

| The problem with growing anything that might potentially be illegal under federal drug laws is that you may wave you rights in other unrelated areas. The case I was following, I have lost track of it, was a man in Washington state who had some opium poppies in among his flowers, as many of us do. He had a quarrel with the neighbors and they reported him to the DEA. Authorities came in an absconded with his antique firearms collection because of some Federal regulations about drugs and firearms. Keeping harmful things like rattlesnakes and harmless things like cannabis fall under different sorts of laws. |

| how did the neighbors know it was an opium and not a regular poppy.i mean for them to plan it out like they are doing a drug raid sounds dumb. i guess you do it at your own risk and hope you dont get caught. But on the other hand i live in a "no snitching" kinda street and people dont like the cops coming around. thanks for replying, and i guess i will stick with the deadly reptiles for now lol. |

| Growing pot is considered "drug manufacturing" by our government. This "crime" is a felony! Years ago I bought into the ads touting "if you buy pot from a dealer, you are an accessory to murder." So I figured I would grow my own and be a good citizen. WRONG! I wasn't able to take my sons hunting and I can't purchase a firearm to protect my family. It ain't worth it. |
