We often have crazy crosses of the garden things from seeds that have cross pollinated, or from garbage things we have put in the compost pile or seeds spread by birds. Some really weird things have grown up in the garden from these crosses & I was wondering if there is any danger from tasting these crosses or just odd flavors?!!! Right now we have what appears to be an Armenian cucumber growing in a flower bed where some bird has dropped seeds! Leaves cucumber-like but the 'cucumber' is growing long but fatter & fuzzy than my other REAL Armenians but has the correct color, ridges, etc.. Just curious if tasting any of these crazy crosses could that often occur out of place in the flower beds could be dangerous?! Pretty sure this is some sort of a melon/cuke cross.
