I got such a kick out of seeing the linked thread the first time I didn't think the second read would be as humerous, but it was even better.

We have a neighbor who does all kinds of unusual things at night by the light of a miners hat and various other means of illumination. My first thought when I read your post was "Oh-oh, another one". I'm happy to see so many people are putting their hats to good use.

I thought I'd gone off the deep end until I read this. My wife still thinks I'm over the edge.

I've been known pull my truck or the car (or both) up to the garden to get a few tasks finished up.

For Christmas last year I got a deer spotting light (500K candle power) and it has a place to be attached to tripod. I couldn't figure this one out at first. I guess the designer of this one must have been a gardener whose wife enjoyed photography. When I borrowed my wife's old tripod to light up the garden she used decided it was best I keep it and she should get a new one. She did. I got another spotlight also, they don't a charge very long under constant use.

My wife did ask why I added miners light to my christmas list!
