Why wont my cucumbers that are indoors produce cucumbers?

I have 4 cucumber plants growing indoors under a 4 foot fluorescent shop light. I planted them there over two and half months ago. They started blooming a month ago. They have all bloomed probably 35-40 male blooms apiece, but no female blooms yet. I was going to pollinate them by hand but it would be pointless to pollinate male blooms. Do they need more light (they get about 11 hours of light per day.) or more dark? They are growing great, but they don't have any female blooms. Please reply and tell me what I am doing wrong and what I can do to help them. Thanks.

Have you pruned the plan, or thrash the leaves to make it feel it is going to die by bugs. If no female flowers by then I don't know what to do?

Try cutting back the hours of light to 8...also, put a fan on the cucumbers to move them. It's always an experiment, right?

Buy self-pollinating (parthenocarpic) cuke seeds. Mike
