Plants that Love Iron/Plants and Furnace Water

edlincoln

My parents furnace has to periodically drained of rusty water. We end up with a couple buckets of warm rusty water. Can anyone think of a gardening use for this? Are there any common New England garden plants that are typically starved for iron?
The yard contains pines, spruce, holly, rhododendron, bulbs, and other typical New England plants. Patches of acidic dense clay and patches of sandy soil.
