| Are there any community gardens in the effected areas of the gulf that might need seeds or plants? There may be fellow gardeners that could share. Would need to know what was needed and time of year normally planted. I helped collect seeds for a Centeral American country several years ago then found out the seeds collected wouldn't grow there because plants needed longer days. Closer you get to equator the shorter the days are.
Could the names and addresses of groups be posted here for fellow gardeners to share their extras? I do not know if it would be allowed. If just the names and addresses were posted anyone reading could send directly. |
