HAVE: natchez/ adams co., ms plant swap 9/16/06

Plant Swap will be held during the Copper Magnolia Festival at the Historic Jefferson College in Washington, MS (Adams County) on Saturday, Sept. 16th @ 11:30 AM.

In addition to the plant swap, there will also be many gardening workshops/presentations (given by professors and extension service specialists from Mississippi State Univ. and local master gardeners), including:

8:15 Early Bird Nature Walk
9:00 Making Natural Wreaths
9:30 Soil Sampling and Testing
10:00 Winterizing Your Lawn
10:30 Harvesting and Preserving Herbs for Winter Use
11:30 PLANT SWAP
1:00 Christmas decorating w/live greenery & natural items
1:30 Roses for Southern Gardens
2:30 Composting and Lasagna Gardening
