Need help! can glads be grown in containers. I love glads.
But I live in a rented house and landlord will not let me put in a garden. How about iris and daylilly or any kind of lilly? Please help me!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks

I have grown gladiolas (Gladiolus nanua ) Just went to look in my note book -is the name I jotted down ---they are not as tall as some ---- in a extra large container ---I put mine in full sun --Make sure there are adequate drainage holes; glad corms I think would rot in waterlogged soil . Very pretty ,easy ,and inexpensive -

Fyrmom, I love daylilies. In the process of moving, I put my daylilies in pots. Many of them bloomed. I can't even say I took good care of them. Thankfully they are now in the ground but I think you could grow them sucessfully in pots. Hope you have lots of success. Sally
