I have been gardening some years now, but have stayed with just summer things like tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, etc. Mainly, that has been because I don't know when to plant other veggies, such as lettuce, cauliflower, broccoli, and cabbage. What month, and what time of the month (early, middle, later part) would it be best to plant these in west central MS (near Vicksburg), and would it be better to grow from seeds or from transplants?
