 o
Lafayette, LA Farmers Markets?

I was told that there are two Farmers markets in Lafayette, LA. Acadiana Farmers Market on Foreman Drive and Downtown Farmers Market on Jefferson Street. Are these pretty large markets, is one larger than the other? What type of items are for sale? Is it strickly farm raised/grown food or do they also have plants and crafts?

When traveling to a different city DH and I like to check out the markets. The last city we were in had three vendors set up in a store parking lot and that is what they considered a Farmers Market. If the ones mentioned above are like that I don't want to take time out of our travel to locate them.

Looks like there are more than two. Call some of the contacts and ask how many vendors. The one at River Ranch sounds good.
