Gardening friends and family,

As we suffer through another 6 weeks of Winter, letÂs take a look ahead to spring and the renewal it brings. One of the best parts of Spring is the smells and tastes of fresh vegetables.

If you are an experienced gardener or a novice; if you have acres to plant or just a windowsill; consider joining the Growing in Christ gardening co-op. Many of us often wonder how to serve God better. This is a wonderful opportunity to not only praise God for providing for you and your family, but also to serve others as Jesus taught us.

The co-op will help provide seeds for you to plant as well as helping networking gardeners to tackle gardening problems. All we ask is that you set aside some of your produce and/or seedlings for the needy: either through church, senior homes, neighbors, or food distribution sites. Anywhere that Jackson citizens may not get fresh produce often.
