Hi all,
I have a newly constucted 'container' around my mailbox pole....about 14-16 inches high and about 18 inches in diameter. Will add a great soil mix inside. NOW....what would you all recommend for planting inside this box. I love tough trailing things and color. The mailbox and pole are black and the container is done in red bricks. ALL DAY sun!! Your thoughts are apprceiated. Angela |

| Well, I'm sorry I don't have any suggestions. But, I'm interested in seeing what suggestions people give because I'm looking for something that can trail down the side of raised planters. Good luck! Dave |

| You might want to try purple homestead verbena if you are looking for color and trailing. Sherri |

Hi, try the purple and white corkscrew vine. This is available from Park seeds or any other garden catalog. Milly- Mississippi |

| The purple homestead is a good choice, they also have the pink which is hardy in our area also. What about the creeping herbs. Those will do well in full sun... Cajun |

| I planted Plumbago about 5 years ago, around my mailbox, and it blooms beautiful every year. I do cut it back each winter, and mulch around it. |
