We're east of you a bit, off Winnsboro Road (hwy 15). A pretty garden you have. Had a hard time reading your blue menu against the black background on your website...

I'm glad you like my garden. I changed my blue menu to white last night. I hope that helps. Thanks for letting me know. I realize now that I was seeing the colors artistically rather than how easily read.

I am new to this site. Are there ever any plants swaps in North LA?

Hi Ginger,
Just saw your post. I have a place in West Carrol Parish. It's a bit of a drive, but would love to see your garden sometime.

Just came across this again-forgot about this part-I've been so inamore of my roses lately-That and 1st grandbaby & new puppy.Yes, they are Louisiana Iris. The Northeast La. Flower Society has a plant swap among it's members evey Oct. It's use to be $20 to join. Ask about it at The LSU Extension Ag.A great group of dirt under fingernail people. They have monthy meetings except in summer and one day garden trip a year. I don't have to keep grass out of beds-because I don't grow grasss-any seedling will be hand pulled.
