black bamboo

I live in Calhoun county, ms. and I want some black bamboo! I've hunted everywhere around here. Can anyone give me any suggestions about where to buy it, and some advice on how to grow it. I've done my research, but when should I plant it here? Thanks!

JMbamboo is a mail order internet store from North Alabama that has a lot of bamboo. I have never dealt with them, but look at their website. You will see some black varieties there. Their climate would be very close to our's since they are around the Cullman area.
