Pink Sweet Potato Vine

| I was given a pot of these from a friend. Can they take full sun. I noticed that the pink has turned much darker in the two days since I have gotten them. Should I give them afternoon shade? |

| Aternoon shade is always a good idea in our climate. My white flowering sweet potato vine was on an east facing trellis and did superbly, fully protected from harsh afternoon sun. Sadly, I overpruned one year and it didn't come back. I'd like to plant more this year, pink would be nice too. Good luck! |
