Trilliums?

I would like to know how common trilliums are where you live. I have them in my wooded front yard, but in the woods joining my property I haven't found any. I am kind of baffled by this. I live in a fairly wooded area.

Does anyone have pics of trilliums in your area? I wish I could identify my species. I have gone to several sites, but there are so many different kinds! I will have to post a pic.

RE: Trilliums?

Hi Dehnera,

Send me a pic of your trillium and I can likely identify it, if not, a friend of mine with LA NHP can. The following link contains images and descriptions of trillium species from the great state of Georgia where I once lived. Click on the thumbnails to view the selected species' description page.
