This was the biggest disappointment!! The first year was great, the second year it went down hill and this year hit rock bottom! So not worth the $5. I won't be going next year.

Hi,

What didn't you like about it? I was suppose to be a vendor but had to back out last minute due to poor planning on my part (getting back from out of the country the day before). I went by there sunday and the attendance seemed low. I know several of the people that organized it and they do want to make it a good event, so I'd be happy to pass the feedback along. Others had said there wasn't enough advertising for it, but from a customers standpoint that wouldn't matter for the ones that were there. lack of vendors?

My wife and I attended the Garden Show and loved it. The vendors were all very knowledgeable and friendly. We learned a lot and were impressed with the variety of plants, flowers, shrubs, and herbs. We bought quite a bit and found the prices very reasonable. If it was better last year, I wish I would have known about it. We will definitely go back. Sorry you were disappointed, but I guess it is different strokes for different folks.

Hi Tim,

Yes, it was definitely a lack of vendors. I know two from Lafayette that were there last year, weren't this year.

In three years, it has gotten progressively worse. Not to mention the lack of variety. When I go to plant sales, I guess I expect a little more than what I can get at the local nursery. There was a lack of "unique" plants. I find I enjoy the plant sale at the Arboretum alot more because it isn't the same old annuals, daylilies, herbs, azaleas and camelias.

I know there are other aspects of the garden show like the speakers and plant clinics, but buying plants are the main reason I went.
