They are considered cold weather annuals in Southeast Louisiana. I would save them and plant them in the fall.

Hate to say this, once I planted a load of poppy (oriental, sherily...), they grew ok, but when temperture hit 80, they began to die..., not even summer, they all died.

I think I got the same promotion last year. I planted the seeds in Jan. The Poppys did great but I never did see the Babys Breath. Like david said, once it got warm they were gone!

I have some of them to have not tried to plant them yet maybe in fall would be the best time or late summer I'LL TRY good luck Jim
