Since it rather looks like a Nile Lily (Agapanthaceae) I thought to start there. Since that is a monogeneric family, I looked for relatives:

"Several genera that were historically classified in the Alliaceae, including Androstephium, Bessera, Bloomeria, Brodiaea, Dandya, Dichelostemma, Milla, Petronymphe, Triteleia, and Triteleiopsis, are now increasingly thought to represent a separate family, Themidaceae.

Allium
Ancrumia
Caloscordum
Erinna
Garaventia
Gethyum
Gilliesia
Ipheion
Leucocoryne
Miersia
Milula
Muilla
Nectaroscordum
Nothoscordum
Solaria (genus)
Speea
Trichlora
Tristagma
Tulbhagia
Zoelnerallium

Retrieved from "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alliaceae"

Go to Google, search for Images of each of these genera and see if you get a match

Thanks Tami for the info. I've gone down the list and still haven't had any luck on the ID yet. Still looking. Brenda

RE: ID Please

It sort of reminds me of society garlic which is in the same family as Lily of the Nile, I believe. The main thing about society garlic is that it has an odor that reminds you of garlic. A closeup of the flowers would help identify it.
