Dwarf Evergreen Shrub

| I'm looking for a dwarf evergreen shrub that will need little maintenance. I want to plant it under some small trees on the east side of my pond dam. Any suggestions? |

| Dwarf yaupon is nice--Ilex vomitoria. And it's native. Of course you need to be sure you get the dwarf, as it is a small tree when not designated 'dwarf.' |
