Hi Brutuses. I've never grown them in pots, but imagine any variety that does well in the ground would work. Just make sure they're in shade.

I'm very hit or miss on the computer these days. Did y'all finish the house?

Hi Natal, thanks for responding. Yes, I thought I'd try some of the small varieties in pots.

Yes, the house itself is actually finished. All we're waiting on is DH to finish the outside buildig of fence, getting concrete poured, finishing the interior of the garage. Our HO wants everything finished before they'll grant a COO. So despite my wishing it would be early summer, it looks like it will be the heart of summer, in June or July. I do know one thing, I will be in that house this Christmas. I dang better be after all the after Christmas sales I caught on Christmas decorations. LOL

Nice to hear from you.

Well congratulations! Know you must be thrilled. What's a COO? Something to do with occupancy?

Thanks Natal. I didn't mean to be so technical. I should have spelled it out because they are called different things. You were close, it's a Certificate of Occupancy. They should just call it a "move in" certificate. LOL They've been sending us tax bills all these years and every year we have to call and say we're not in yet and they sigh and ask "when do you plan on being in?" I know they think we're lying because no one takes that long to build a house. LOL
