brown spotted bugs on daisies

anyone know what this bug is? It's soft... is it an aphid? it's a roughly the size of half a short pinky nail... i went to go check on size and they were all gone (12:30)... pic was taken about 10:30

there was also a couple of lady bugs and an assassin bug....

any ideas?
