 o
Bottlebrush and Mock Orange ?

The tag on my Mock Orange says full sun, but I have seen them growing in mostly shade, where would it do best in South Louisiana, I am about 60 miles north of NOLA.

Also, how much direct sun can a Bottlebrush tree take? It is about 3 feet tall and is the weeping kind, I have only seen them growing in shade here. TIA sharon

As with most temperate climate shrubs grown in your climate, morning sun, with shade from noontime on, is ideal. But I'd imagine that planted under tall trees, with mid-day shade and morning + afternoon sun, would also work.

Bottlebrush trees can take full sun, all day long.
