I recently noticed a pest on my Japanese Magnolia.
I have uploaded an image here.

I would like to know what it is and how to treat the problem.
Thanks.

RE: Japanese Magnolia Pest

You have scale. Oil spray is good if temperature isn't too hot and you can adequately cover all infected areas. Otherwise, I recommend a systemic treatment; I have successfully used the Bayer Tree & Shrub Insect Control product .
