City Park plant sale

Can anybody tell where I can get a list of plants that will be offered for sale at the Spring Sale in New Orleans tomorrow (Apr.2-3)? Some of my friends will not be able to go and I am going. They could select some plants for me to pick up for them. We did this last year, but I do not know where the list came from.

Thanks

Went today, and it was great. If anybody gets a chance to go, it is certainly worth your time.

I was slightly disappointed this year. For the first time I did not buy anything from the botanical garden, only from outside vendors. One vendor said that fewer vendors ventured out this year because the fall show was so poor. The fall show was late, but I enjoyed it. The gardens looked as beautiful as I have ever seen them this weekend. And the jambalaya was back.

My friend and I got a lot of plants. many perennials and a few others too, I got a Lions Tail; cannot wait to see what it will look like. I really like the Tropical plant sale in July. Am impatiently waiting. They do have a butterfly garden plant show in May, but I relly like the tropicals.

I thought the show was pretty bad - maybe 1/4 as many vendors as last year. Usually my ladyfriend and I buy as much as we can possibly carry, but this time we left with one Nun's Orchid and one Tillandsia clump. What vendors were there did not have much to offer.

You will like the lion's ear. I have bought two at these shows. (One died mysteriously.) I always get requests for cuttings when it blooms. Don't be afraid to prune after bloom or it will get leggy and a good wind will snap the branchs.

You are right to recommend the Pelican Greenhouse sales: salvias etc. in May, gingers (some rare) etc. in July.
