| I am interesting in attempting to grow Sfusato Amalfitano Lemons and Arbequina Olives in Louisiana.
I read on another Discussion that someone in New Iberia, LA had success growing Arbequina Olives and I was curious to learn of other outcomes of growing Lemons and Olives in Louisiana.
Also, I would be interested in learning of any places where you can purchase cuttings/seeds of these particular varieties of lemons and olives.

| Don't know where in Louisiana you are, but there is a lady in Slidell that grows the olives on an orchard she has there. She does sell cuttings also. I bought two cuttings recently at a garden fair that she attended. Her website is: www.passionateplatter.com Contact her. She just might be able to help you. |

| My Arbequina produced a lot of blooms this year from which I now have over sixty olives maturing. |

| Billyb, How go's it with he Amalftino's. Have you sourced trees or cuttings yet? Dwarfs or natural? I am dying to try to grow a dwarf Amalfatino or two. I am in the north-east, so dwarf would be the only relaist option for me. I am having trouble locating any sources for Amalfatino's in general much less dwarfs. I don't really have any experience with grafting but I would consider giving it a shot myself. Any input would be greatly appriceated. Thanks, Chris |

Amalfi Drive lemon (Italy): Has anyone been able to find a source for the Sfusato Amalfitano lemon tree in the US yet? I saw one of the lemons for sale in Positano, Italy, being sold from a vendors cart. It was half a football in size. About 5 or 6 Euros. I was dissuaded from buying it as apparently the fruit would have been confiscated upon re-boarding the cruisliner! Oh how I wish I'd bought it and at least experienced the taste of it! Oh well, such is life! |
