Amaryllis Zone 8b

| We bought this house last winter and much to my suprise this year, there is a beautiful bed of amaryllis near the garage. The original homeowners hated gardening so this is a big suprise. There are also a couple of small yellow daylilies in the bed. I was wondering how long both will bloom? Any general instructions? I especially have no clue where amaryllis are conscerned. Thank you. |

| I have some amaryllis that also "came with the house", and they were in full bloom by mid April. I still have some blooming, but most of the flowers have started closing and falling off. I have no clue on the daylilies - I have several different varieties, and their bloom times are all different. |
