This event is one day only this year: Saturday, May 8th from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Blackham Coliseum in Lafayette. That's off Johnston Street at the Corner of Cajundome Blvd.

Displays by local plant geeks (orchids, bonsai, garden club), photography contest, and something on the order of 85 vendors of plants, potting materials and all sort of garden-related things. Plumerias, orchids, bromeliads, tropicals and many more.

This is the very day before Mothers' Day: what better time and place to pick out that very special gift for your beloved Mom or for your own self!

An excellent event to hobnob with other gardening aficionados!
