Critter problem! Help, please!!!!

| something is tunneling through our yard. i don't know if it is a mole or vole. but they are ruining our lawn and also invading the new flower beds. i bought some of the castor oil pellets, and i think the little *#!@%#s just fattened up on it. how do i determine what is in our yard, and what do we do to get rid of them? |

| If you are not against killing the critter, there is what's called a "mole trap". However, it's not at all a "trap". Its a spring loaded device that skewers the mole. You place the "trap" over the active tunnel after you've colapsed the tunnel with your foot. When the mole reopens the tunnel it trips the spring and spikes the mole. You can find these devices at many of the hardware store/garden areas. |
